02.20.2021 | 12:48 AM | ALISO VIEJO – A person was found dead after a fire at an apartment building, early Saturday morning.
The fire was first reported around 12:48 AM at an apartment building located in the 23500 block of Windsong.
Firefighters arrived on scene of the three-story apartment building and found heavy fire showing from a third-floor unit.
Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and extinguished the blaze within 24 minutes.
During a search of the building one person was found deceased inside an apartment.
Several other individuals from the apartment building were displaced as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
