Anaheim: Crash Outside Fire Station Leaves One Dead, Another Under Arrest

10.24.2020 | 8:55 PM | ANAHEIM – A woman was dead and a suspected DUI driver under arrest after a crash in front of a fire station, Saturday night.

The crash occurred in front of Anaheim Fire Station 7 near the intersection of East Ball Road and South Belhaven Street shortly before 9:00 PM.

First responders quickly arrived to find a two-vehicle crash involving a grey 2018 Toyota Tacoma and a black 2004 Honda Accord.

The driver of the Honda, identified only as a female adult, was located unconscious and later pronounced deceased on scene despite efforts to resuscitate her.

The male driver of the Toyota escaped injury and was later placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

Westbound lanes of East Ball Road were closed between Sunkist Street and South State College Boulevard for hours while police investigated.
