Anaheim: Man Dead After Being Found Shot Near Motel 6

11.16.2021 | 12:12 AM | ANAHEIM – A 31-year-old man died after being found shot shot in Motel 6 parking lot, early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting near the Motel 6, located in the 1400 block of North State College Boulevard, around 12:17 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located a male victim in the motel parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound and began to render aid.

Firefighter paramedics took over medical treatment of the man and rushed him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

He was later identified as 31-year-old Jeremy Ray Brommer, of Garden Grove.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation although witnesses report the man was found near a BMW with a shattered window suggesting he may have been struck while in his vehicle.

No suspect information was immediately available and homicide detectives are responding to the scene.
