Anaheim: Man Extricated After Rollover Crash

05.19.2021 | 10:08 PM | ANAHEIM – A man was extricated from his vehicle after a rollover crash, Wednesday night.

The crash was reported on East Ball Road just west of the SR-57 Freeway around 10:08 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash including a Chevrolet Suburban on its side and a Jeep Gladiator. The Chevrolet was on its side and its male driver was trapped inside.

Firefighter paramedics worked to stabilize the vehicle before freeing the driver and transporting him to an area hospital.

Initial reports indicate the Chevrolet was traveling at high-speeds on the southbound SR-57 Freeway off ramp to Ball Road when its was unable to negotiate a turn. The Chevrolet then crashed into a bush and chain link fence before hitting a Jeep.

The driver of the Jeep was uninjured and refused medical treatment.

It is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
