Anaheim: Four Shot After Man Ejected From Strip Club

10.31.2020 | 1:37 AM | ANAHEIM – Four people were injured and three hospitalized after a shooting at a gentlemen’s club, early Saturday morning.

Reports of a shooting at the Sahara Theatre, a gentlemen’s club located in the 1200 block of South State College Boulevard, poured in around 1:35 AM.

When officers arrived on scene they learned that a suspect in a newer-model model Honda sedan opened fire on the club before fleeing the scene.

The gunfire struck four victims, three of which were transported to area hospitals with moderate injuries. The fourth victim suffered only minor injuries and refused further medical treatment.

Witnesses at the scene said that the suspect was a patron who had been ejected from the club before driving by and opening fire.

There was around 50 people in the club at the time of the shooting. It was not clear whether the club is an “essential” business allowed to operate in Orange County.

An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information was urged to call the Anaheim Police Department at (714) 765-1900 or to make an anonymous tip through the Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) 847-6227.
