Anaheim: Vehicle Fire Ignites Power Lines & Trees Outside Cemetery

10.14.2021 | 3:34 AM | ANAHEIM – A vehicle fire ignited power lines and trees outside of a cemetery, early Thursday morning.

The fire was reported outside a cemetery in the 2200 block of Lewis Street, just south of East Orangewood Avenue, shortly after 3:30 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a white 2000 Toyota Tacoma engulfed in heavy fire that had already spread to nearby power lines and trees.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze in about 30 minutes despite delays caused by downed power lines above the closest fire hydrant.

A fire investigator was responding to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.

No injuries were immediately reported.
