Corona del Mar: Botched Burglary Leaves Windows Smashed At Verizon Store

11.18.2020 | 10:08 PM | CORONA DEL MAR – Two windows were left smashed at a Verizon store after what is believed to be a botched burglary attempt, Wednesday night.

Officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress at the Verizon store located in the 3000 block of East Coast Highway around 10:08 PM.

The suspect fled prior to the arrival of police but officers found a rock along that appeared to have been used to smash windows to the business.

It did not appear the suspect made entry into the business and officers remained on scene to investigate.

No suspect description was immediately available.
