Dana Point: Police Arrest Suspect After Man Dies Following Pizza Restaurant Fight

03.24.2022 | 1:00 PM | DANA POINT – A man was arrested less than a week after a fight at a pizza restaurant claimed the life of a 38-year-old man, authorities announced Thursday.

Investigators arrested 20-year-old Jack Issacson, of San Diego, in connection with the fight at a pizza restaurant that left another man, 38-year-old Michael Terry, of Laguna Niguel, dead.

The fight was reported at Beach Harbor Pizza, located in the 34400 block of Golden Lantern, around 7:00 PM on Mar. 17, 2022.

When deputies arrived they learned that an altercation occurred between Terry and another man resulting in serious injuries.

Firefighter paramedics rushed Terry to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased the following morning.

After identifying Isaacson as a suspect in the incident, homicide investigators arrested him on Mar. 23. Isaacson was subsequently booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
