10.05.2021 | 11:12 AM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – An apparently greedy bank robbery suspect was arrested after robbing a bank twice in two days, Tuesday morning.

The robbery suspect, identified by police as 33-year-old Samuel Brown, of San Diego, was taken into custody around 11:12 AM after officers responded to reports of a robbery at a Chase Bank located in the 17000 block of Newhope Street.

Brown allegedly robbed the very same bank less than 24 hours before on October 4, at around 3:00 PM by passing a note demanding cash but fled prior to the arrival of police.

He was said to have made off “with a large amount of cash” during the first robbery.

Police say Brown has prior convictions for robbery out of San Diego County and was the subject of an active arrest warrant.

He was booked into Orange County Jail where he is being held in lieu of $170,000 bail.
