Fullerton: Shooting Victim Dead, Another Injured After Car Crashes Into Home

05.28.2021 | 7:17 PM | FULLERTON – Two men, including one who died, were shot inside a car that later crashed into a home, Friday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a home in the 3500 block of West Valencia Avenue around 7:17 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located a vehicle that had struck a home along with two victims from the car.

Both victims, male adults, had sustained gunshot wounds shortly before crashing. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The passenger was rushed by firefighter paramedics to a local trauma center for treatment.

Nobody inside the home that was struck sustained injuries from the crash.

Initial reports indicate a male subject was seen fleeing eastbound on Valencia Avenue shortly after the crash however no further description was immediately available.

It is was unclear what prompted the shooting or whether the incident was gang-related.
