Irvine: Decomposed Bodies Found Inside Home In Possible Murder-Suicide

04.06.2022 | 10:30 AM | IRVINE – The bodies of three family members were found decomposed inside a home in what may may have been a murder-suicide, Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to conduct a welfare check on a family at 58 Riverboat at the request of Canadian authorities around 10:30 AM.

When officers arrived they found three “severely decomposed” bodies of a father, mother, and their adult son inside the home.

Based on evidence at the scene, including a handgun that was recovered, police suspect the incident may have been a murder-suicide that resulted from a “domestic related incident.”

Police said they were not looking for any intruders and that were were no signs of forced entry.

The family may have been dead for up to a year, although an exact timeline was still being investigated.
