10.09.2020 | 11:23 PM | IRVINE – An e-bike rider was injured and rushed to a hospital after being struck by a Toyota Prius, late Friday night.
The crash was first reported around 11:23 PM at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Paseo Westpark.
Crews arriving on scene located the rider of an e-bike down in the intersection along with a damaged Toyota Prius parked nearby.
Firefighter paramedics rushed the bicyclist to an area trauma center in unknown condition.
The driver of the Prius refused medical treatment.
The intersection where the crash occurred was partially closed while officers worked to clear the scene of debris.
