11.01.2020 | 12:45 AM | IRVINE – An investigation is underway after several shots were fired outside a possible marijuana dispensary, early Sunday morning.
The incident happened in a parking lot behind a commercial building in the 2500 block of McCabe Way around 12:45 AM.
Units arriving on scene located at least three shell casings and stopped numerous people who were at the building and attempting to leave.
No victims were found after a search from the air using a police helicopter and drone.
Several witnesses described the location as being an illegal marijuana dispensary but police would not confirm any information regarding the incident.
The entire building and parking lot were taped off as a crime scene while police continued their investigation.
