Orange: Driver Extricated After Rollover Crash

08.28.2021 | 10:40 PM | ORANGE – A driver who became trapped after a rollover crash was freed by firefighters and rushed to an area hospital, Saturday night.

The crash was reported on East Chapman Avenue just east of North Jamboree Road around 10:40 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located a blue Subaru sedan blocking lanes with a male driver trapped inside.

Firefighters worked to quickly free the trapped driver before rushing him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the Subaru was traveling westbound on East Chapman Avenue when it departed the roadway and struck a berm causing it to overturn.

Both directions of East Chapman Avenue were closed between North Jamboree Road and the SR-241 Freeway for about an hour the incident unfolded.
