Orange: Ejection Crash Leaves One Dead

12.18.2020 | 2:47 AM | ORANGE – A man was dead after being ejected from a rollover freeway crash, early Friday morning.

The crash was reported along the southbound SR-55 Freeway near the SR-22 Freeway around 2:47 AM.

When officers arrived on scene they found a black 1998 Honda Accord on its roof with a male victim that had been ejected from the vehicle laying nearby.

Firefighter paramedics determined the male victim was beyond medical treatment and pronounced him deceased on scene.

Initial reports indicate the Honda was traveling southbound on the SR-55 transition to the westbound SR-22 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, it veered back towards the main line lanes.

It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the crash and the cause is under investigation.
