Santa Ana: Man Injured After Reported Stabbing, Suspect Detained

04.23.2021 | 2:00 AM | SANTA ANA – A man was injured after a reported stabbing and a possible suspect was detained by police, early Friday morning.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 2200 block of South Orange Avenue, near East Warner Avenue, around 2:00 AM.

Officers arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a laceration to his hand.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A possible suspect could be seen being detained by police but it was unclear if the man was later arrested.

The circumstances that led up to the stabbing remain under investigation.
