Santa Ana: Motorcyclist Flees After Leading Officers On High-Speed Pursuit

09.04.2021 | 12:00 AM | SANTA ANA – A motorcyclist was on the lam after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit and then ditching his bike, early Saturday morning.

The pursuit began sometime around midnight in the Diamond Bar area when officers attempted to stop a speeding motorcyclist.

The rider failed to yield to officers prompting a high-speed pursuit that ended in Santa Ana when the rider ditched his bike near a home in the in the 200 block of East Occidental Street.

Although officers believe the rider fled into a home, they were unable to coax the person out and will instead be arresting them at a later date.

The motorcycle was impounded as evidence.
