Santa Ana: Police Search For Victim After Reported Shooting

11.19.2020 | 8:08 PM | SANTA ANA – Police searched for a victim after shots broke out in a residential neighborhood but did not locate anyone injured, Thursday night.

Callers reported a shooting near the intersection of West 2nd and North Hesperian streets around 8:08 PM.

When officers arrived on scene they located evidence of a shooting but no victims.

Believing a victim might be inside a nearby home in the 1300 block of West 3rd Street officers assembled a search team and surrounded the residence.

No victims were located inside the home and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark colored sedan fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting.
