Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a home in the 13700 block of Iroquois around 2:39 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a sedan that was traveling eastbound on San Juan Street when it came to a dead-end at the intersection of Browning Avenue and caught air before continuing across a green belt, through a wall, and into the dining room of a two-story home.

The driver of the sedan was trapped in the wreckage and pronounced deceased on scene. A female passenger was able to exit vehicle and was treated on scene before being transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A group of teens having a slumber party were asleep in the room next to where the vehicle came to rest but did not sustain injuries.

The home was red tagged by city building officials as a result of the impact.

The crash remains under investigation.
