Tustin: Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Through Wall Causing Vehicle To Catch Fire

01.23.2022 | 2:55 AM | TUSTIN – A suspected DUI driver crashed into a brick wall causing his vehicle to catch fire and damaging two other cars, early Sunday morning.

The crash was reported in the 15400 block of Pasadena Avenue, near the end of Nisson Road, around 2:55 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located a white 2012 Ford F-150 that had collided with a brick wall causing damage to two vehicles behind the wall.

The pickup truck began to catch fire but the flames were quickly extinguished by officers using a fire extinguisher.

The solo driver appeared to resist officers attempts to detain him and was later observed being administered field sobriety tests.

No injuries from the crash were reported.
